My Dementia Companion is the world's first smart assistant that empowers all people impacted by dementia to live well. It is designed for family and friend carers to walk them through this extremely complex journey. Dementia is Australia’s second leading cause of death and currently, too many people are currently struggling to navigate their journey.
We have built our MVP and launched our pilot with the help of great stakeholders such as the federal Department of Health, Dementia Australia and Caladenia Dementia Care.
We are making a big difference and our net promoter score is 52 (>5x the American company average).
We are a social impact driven startup that wants to scale and create change.
What you will do:
We are looking for a Marketing and Communications talent to get more people who need our help onboard! You will help to drive our digital marketing strategy over the next 3 months, so we can help more people impacted by dementia.
With the support of the CEO, working on projects including:
Marketing roadmap to improve our value proposition
User and market research, such as interviews and surveys
Automated email campaigns
Social media presences and campaigns
Website and content review, including SEO.
You will also have the opportunity to shape our startup and support the CEO on stakeholder development, including pitching and relationship building with senior managers and C-Suits in the health and aged care sector.
Who we are looking for:
A problem solver excited to put their marketing, communications or entrepreneurship education to use. You will be:
currently studying or recently completed your Bachelor in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Entrepreneurship or similar
Passionate to make a difference in dementia, health and social impact (health experience not essential but desirable)
Eager to learn and ready to work in a startup environment
Experienced in digital marketing is highly desirable, such as social, email marketing, SEO etc.
Able to write succinct and impactful communications, such as news articles, blogs, other copy, etc.
Able to dedicate 1-3 days a week (can be flexible).
